Gun Buying Process
At Good2Go Firearms, we want to make the gun buying process easy to understand. There are both federal and state regulations for buying a firearm.
Good2Go Firearms In-Store Purchase:

Come into Good2Go Firearms, purchase an in-stock or special order firearm

If placing a special order, firearm must be paid for upfront

Have a CA ID/Driver's License: with current permanent address

Secondary proof of residency with current permanent address, recommended documents: vehicle registration, utility bill

Have your Firearm Safety Certificate or proper exemption: link to the Study Guide for the DOJ's Firearm Safety Test

Or take your Firearm Safety Test at Good2Go Firearms ($25 Fee)

Submit your payment for the gun

We then submit your information for the background check

If you do not pass the background check, we cannot release the firearm to you, and you will be subject to the 10% Firearm Restocking Fee

There is a mandatory 10-day Full 24 hours waiting period

If you don't hear from us, that's good, you can come in to pickup your firearm based upon your schedule date
