What are the Yuba City Junior Honkers?
The Yuba City Junior Honkers are a youth football and cheerleading association comprised of boys and girls age 6 to 14. The Junior Honkers are an instructional feeder program to Yuba City High School and have the full support of the YCHS Football and Cheerleading staff, the Yuba City Honker Club, and many high school student athletes.

What age groups can join the Yuba city Junior Honkers?
Boys and girls 6-14

When does the season start?
First day of practice July 22, 2013.

What is the deadlined to sign up?
Monday following Jamboree, this year would be August 19, 2013 (per NORCALFED rulebook)

How much does it cost to sign up?
The registration fee is $300 for football. The registration fee for Cheerleading is $450. Fifty dollars of the registration fee is a non-refundable deposit (per participant) and is required at the time of signups for both football and cheer. Fees must be submitted by June 8, 2013. There will be no refunds after June 8th of the current season. Fees must be paid in full by June 8th in order to maintain your position on the roster. There are sponsor forms available to all participants.

Are the Yuba City Junior Honkers connected to Yuba City High School?
Yes, we are the direct feeder organization for youth football and cheerleading.

Are you a non-profit organization?
Yes, we are a fully incorporated 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. there are no paid positions in our association. We operate on the sole help of our committed volunteers. The Junior Honkers enable our players and cheerleaders to develop a sense of pride in themselves and their community. Our program encourages hard work both scholastically and physically. At the same time physical fitness, sportsmanship, character, and most of all fun are our goals.

How do I make a donation?
You can be a sponsor for the entire season, or make a donation directly on our website.

Fundraiser Update:
Jr. Honkers will have a fireworks stand. June 28-July 4. Location: corner of Bridge & Cooper (Danna & Danna Fruit Packing Lot). Contact your coach to get pre-sale tickets for your friends and family.
